Parents of Preschoolers (POPS) Meeting January 18th
Mark your calendars for Thursday January 18th at 6:30 for our first Parents of Preschoolers (POPS) meeting. It will be here at Sonshine (upstairs). You may park in the upstairs driveway. If it is full then we will use the back driveway. There will be snacks and child care for this first meeting. I will have fun activities planned for the kids while parents enjoy time to share the struggles and blessings of parenthood with one another. Kristina will have some good information on "The Four C's of Parenting". Remember this is a time for you parents to relax, share and learn. This is your chance to get to know the other parents of Sonshine and become friends and support one another. The structure and ultimate form the group takes will be determined by you. You will decide how much sharing with one another and how much you would like to be informed by Kristina. You will also decide how often you would like to meet and subjects for next meeting. My vision is that parents will feel more confident and informed about parenting preschoolers and not feel alone on this journey. All group POPS activities are free and you are welcome to invite friends if you like. You will recieve a text about the meeting. Please respond to the text in a different thread if you are coming and how many will be in your party.
